Those machines haven't been economy engineered to death - they were designed to be 'good enough' for the target market a while ago, and are now bargain-basement devices. I use a HP Mini 311 as my main netbook at home, upgraded with an SSD and 3Gb of RAM but still essentially an Atom N270 with Ion graphics... It should last a good few years I hope. -Cam
