It works very well on Linux.  I didn't know it worked for iPalyer.  Cool.

Doesn't iPlayer let you download as MP3 anyway?  I thought there was an
option for PMPs?  There certainly used to be.

Just checked, the PMP option is gone but they do have some Linux clients
at least.  May not be all open source and full of freedom, but it's
better than nowt I guess.
