[Nottingham] A Google Webmaster Scam?

I have had my address stripes at roppa.demon.co.uk un-subscribed many times
from the list due to bounces because demon blacklist this group. I assume
this might be tied in with Google's blacklisting. I have temporarily fixed
my e-mail problem by subscribing under another address but I can't offer
any help as to what is wrong with the site.
