Meanwhile in the weird world of Windows 2003 server, I've just
rediscovered that MSSQL .bak files are a proprietary format and that you
need exactly the same software that created them to be able to read any
back in... So much for backups!...

I'll breaking that data out of those shackles ASAP!! Shame about the
needless unnecessary effort needed to do that :-(
