[Nottingham] Android non-Google Calendar Apps?

Folks,

Really, is there only the Google calendar for using a calendar on your
Android smartphone?!


Or is there a calendar app or pair of calendar + sync apps to let you
have your own personal calendar from your own personal WebDav server
holding a ".ics" file?

Or any 'work-arounds' to go Google-free?


Or can/will the Google calendar automatically sync to a WebDav .ics?

Or is there the equivalent of the Thunderbird Lightning add-on as an app
for Android?
