Hi Jason,
There are several options open to you
(1) You have got back our signed key - either it's within the e-mail so when you decrypt the
message you see it straight away - all you have to do is within Openpgp's main menu is
import the sender's key - it will import and update your keyring.
(2) If its in the form of an *.asc file then save to your hard disk. Usually when right
mouse clicking on the file you get the option to import it.
(3) If no option appears or if it was sent in plain txt i.e. jason.txt then you open the
file select all the txt and copy to your clipboard. You can use either GPA Kgpg Kleopatra or
Openpgp to import the key. Once you have imported your key - other programmes such as GPA
Kgpg Openpgp will not import again.
In GPA click on the dark circle - show key details - then highlight then click on signatures
- - you will get a list of all who signed your key.
Remember you only need to import once - all programmes GPA Openpgp read the same file - your
public key ring which is in your /.gnupg folder. You don't want to edit this file! But all
files that end in *.conf are safe to edit - if you know what setting to put in :)
