"Works on Win8" label of awesome that the user *has* to be able to enter
custom mode, add keys or switch the whole thing off.

So this means that on any such x86 system you can run any OS you want.

So it seems it might be a possible loophole allowing compliance with the
letter of the dikat but not the spirit.
I really hope that this is just a cock-up on Lenovo's part in letting
the new graduate do some production code (shudder) and not a prelude to
what we'll see on other systems.
