[Nottingham] X-Pingback: Good, bad, delete it?

Folks,

For the web experts out there:

In the http headers, is X-Pingback of any use other than for generating
spam?


BTW:

A neat trick to see the headers sent for a web page is to drop to the
good old commandline and use the venerable old wget:

wget -O - -S "http://www.example.com/" 2>&1 | more


( more 'cos I ain't looked up less! :-/ )
