[Nottingham] GNU/Linux on a graphics pad?

Folks,

There's lots of sub-£100 graphics pads available now, but all running
the sparse Google Android "Bionic/Linux", and all strongly steered
towards Google 'integration'...


Anyone busted that by installing GNU/Linux?

Any recommendation as to an easy/good graphics pad to usurp/free?
