[Nottingham] Dual Boot - Windows updates and Linux boot failures

Is Linux trying to mount the NTFS partition on boot? If it is try
setting it to noauto or commenting out of fstab. I doubt that Windows
needs to amend the MBR (and some older BIOS prevent this), but it could
leave its NTFS partition in an inconsistent state such that the Linux
NTFS driver can't open it reliably.
