Folks,
To misquote an old quote: 512k ought to be enough for everybody?!
Looks like parts of the internet is suffering some old router hardware
512k table size limit:
The dull stuff:
http://www.cidr-report.org/cgi-bin/plota?file=%2fvar%2fdata%2fbgp%2fas2.0%2fbgp-active.txt&descr=Active%20BGP%20entries%20%28FIB%29&ylabel=Active%20BGP%20entries%20%28FIB%29&with=step
Major outages today, not much info at this time

(Surprisingly, the BBC have picked up on this!)
Browsing speeds may slow as net hardware bug bites

Too much information make router go bang
http://www.theinquirer.net/inquirer/news/2360306/512k-routing-bug-might-kill-the-internet-but-probably-wont
What that might mean is that some websites at random may well
'disappear' for a few hours until parts of the internet get
reprogrammed/rerouted over the coming days...
Cheers,
Martin
