Ah...now if memory serves ownCloud doesn't carry the full SabreDAV
implementation (or it's an old version, or something). That's why it has
multiple endpoints for some services (meaning having to create multiple
accounts on Android devices), whereas SabreDAV itself is happy with a
one-for-all approach.

Could be worth sending the OC devs a message via their forums
(http://forum.owncloud.org/) or IRC (#owncloud on freenode).
