But you only need to consider it if you haven't changed the default
password; as the article says:

"Fortunately the attack would be difficult to pull off in practice - and is
easily prevented by changing the default password, which Virgin encourages
all its customers to do when they are first installed."

It's the first thing I do with any piece of electronics, personally....
