[Nottingham] Decent alternatives to VMWare vSphere?

Subject says it all really.

Requirements:
  Single node (host+guests) VM server.
  Won't be doing huge amounts of processing on it, but it will be nice
to compartmentalise everything (primarily KVM, don't think containers
will suit).
  A web interface to make managing guests easy would be a big plus
failing that, GUI client will do.

Hardware:
  HP dc7900 with E8500 Core 2 Duo, 4GB RAM, 230GB HDD, 1TB HDD
  So not exactly a powerhouse!

oVirt looks like it will demand too many resources.
Kimchi seemed interesting, but won't install on to Ubuntu 14.04 LTS

Proxmox any good?
