Position: IT Support Consultant
Location: UK

Our consultancy practice is devoted to assisting our reputable, blue-chip clients overcome their planning, consolidation, budgeting and forecasting challenges to unlock the capability of their data. At Budgeting Solutions, building good relationships with our customers means a lot to us, so communication is just as important as technical skills. Applicants must be able to adapt, where needed, to both technical and business people, they must have stakeholder management experience and be highly adept at interfacing with the business to understand the commercial objectives of their work. Training and supervision will be provided to make sure you are brought up to speed however the candidate must also be comfortable working on their own and be willing to travel to different customer sites.
Responsibilities will include:

  *   Capturing and understanding client business requirements.
  *   Designing and implementing IBM Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics solutions.
  *   Producing solution design documentation.
  *   Supporting sales colleagues with Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics demonstrations.
  *   Building Cognos TM1/Planning Analytics models to meet client requirements.
  *   Support and diagnosis on existing TM1/Planning Analytics installations.
  *   Building and maintaining good customer relationships.
The person:

  *   Have an interest in analytical technology
  *   Degree in maths, chemistry, physics, computer science, IT or business studies (however must be comfortable with numbers)
  *   Ability to self-manage and work without direct supervision on customer sites
  *   Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
  *   Disciplined attitude and accountability
Essential requirements:

  *   Valid UK Driving Licence
  *   This is a UK wide role, so a willingness to travel is essential
