Well, SSH is natively secure. :-)
This is the only way I can access certain resources.

I actually stopped using that, it was too unstable. systemd does a much
better job of keeping connections alive, although the connection dying
isn't the issue here.

Another wrinkle is Virgin's shockingly bad upload speed!
