Hi Ron,
I agree with Bob. The best way to install Mint is simply to burn an .iso
and install from there. I've been with Mint for years now as my sole
operating system and find it is just great. There was a slight hiccup
with Mint 19 but 19.1 is great! Clem and the Mint team do a great job
for simple Linux users like me.
