Hello LUG,

Would anyone consider giving me a bit of live help, in person or via
screensharing?

I've been using linux on and off for around 15 years for general desktop
purposes, but I'm currently trying to make the next step and get into java.
It's been going ok until I decided to move onto GUI with javafx. I've been
trying to get openjfx going for two weeks now, and still no luck! There are
always more forum threads I could read etc, but I can't help the impression
it's something totally basic I'm missing. This is why I thought I'd just
see if anyone's prepared to cast their eye on it.

Meeting in person might be the most efficient, but I'm also happy to try
with screensharing, using skype or a phone to talk. If we were to meet in
person, I will naturally travel to meet the helper at a time and place
convenient to them. A midweek evening would probably be best for me (once
my daughters are in bed).

Anyone? I'm on xubuntu with eclipse but more than happy to switch IDE
if needed, would prefer to stick with openjfx as opposed to oracle but it's
not a red line either.

Best regards,

Mateusz
