[Nottingham] stuck in reboot loop

Hi there, long time since I posted anything to the group, but looking for
help. Given a new laptop, Lenovo Ideapad 1. Tried it out by booting from
USB stick with Ubuntu 22 and looks great so I installed it - wiping out
previous OS. Now when I start it up all I get is 'reboot system' or some
such message flash on screen and then it goes blank and reboots - over and
over until I power it off.
I have tried looking for help online, but none of the four suggestions I
have tried so far have worked.

Any suggestions as to what to try next?
