[Ormskirk LUG] Beowulf

I have stacks of old hardware kicking round and was
looking round for something to do with it. I fancy
having a pop at setting up a Beowulf cluster just as
something to play with. Has anyone any experience of
setting one up. 

Another area I'm interested in is whether it is
possible to split a large datafile across two servers
and perform parallel queries in order to decrease the
query time. Any one any ideas?
