[Phpwm] VPN Concentrator

At work we have recently started using a Cisco VPN Concentrator so that
Staff and Students can access the College Intranet from home.

I am currently trying to find solutions to two issues with the
concentrator:

1.	Users must authenticate twice. Once to login to the
concentrator, and then again to login to the Intranet.
2.	The login page is extremely plain and unattractive. I have found
no way as of yet to get onto the box and replace/modify the page.

Does anyone have experience using a VPN concentrator to provide access
to an Intranet?
I can't believe that there isn't a mechanism to allow a single login,
surely the main point of the concentrator is to provide external
intranet access! I have tried googling about this and can find very
little information.

I do not know have the exact model name and details at hand but can get
them if required.
