[Phpwm] FTP upoad max

Hi all,
Anyone know of anywhere in a Cobalt Raq4 server (Apache / RedHat) that
limits the user (not anonymous) maximum single FTP filesize allowed for
upload?
There seems to be a limit set somewhere of around 25-30Mb or so, but I don't
see where - its not in ProFTPD or any of the obviously related .conf files
that I can see.
It affects files both uploaded via FTP and HTTP via a form upload stream,
both of which work fine on slightly smaller (23Mb) files just fine. /tmp is
big enough by far to accomodate the upload, as is the available virtual site
space.
