Hi to you all,

Not wanting to put a damper on things, but the BBC Midlands weather 
forecast at 13.45 was for 4" to 6" of snow overnight, turning to rain by 
Thursday evening but remaining cold.

I'm not a motorist but judging by recent experience with snow in 
Birmingham I expect everything to grind to a halt!

I aim to come along, public transport and weather permitting, but how 
far has our speaker to travel?
