I got a copy of PHP and MySQL Web Development by Luke Welling & Laura
Thomson from Amazon. (Thanks for the recommendation Rob). It's a
massive tome and covers a lot of stuff, so this should keep me busy
for a while.
Any previous coding/scripting that I've done (bash, python and C) has
been for hobbyist stuff, but I'm curious about the possibility of
doing PHP for a living at some point in the future. Would I have to
master the entire contents of this book before I was ready for an
entry level PHP job? If not, which of the chapters would give me a
good start?
Thanks.
