Thankfully this isn't the phplondon group lol (phew) :)

I know of a few good pubs in around the Walsall, Wolverhampton &
Birmingham areas although mainly the bigger chains as all the smaller
'community' pubs are closing, my three nearest pubs have all closed
(including our nearest Carvery) and one has since been totally
demolished (Highgate Hall - Rest in peace) :)

There is the 'Malthouse' pub in Willenhall (direct route between
Walsall & Wolverhampton) its a Weatherspoons pub so is very cheap, I
believe they do 99p pint on some mid-week nights as well. Its quite a
new pub so is fairly modern and pretty quiet in the week (weekends are
pretty manic as you'd expect!)

How many people usually turn up to these nights? You certainly seem
like a friendly bunch from the pleasant response I've had so far! :)
