Hi Jujhar,
Thank you for the offer; now you've caused me a headache.
I think we [phpwm] need to have a consistent venue. The cost of the
venue is pretty insignificant (50 quid per evening) in the scheme of
things, especially when there are sponsors paying for it.
We've moved the meeting around to numerous places over the last few
years with no consistency, and I'm interested to see whether being in
one place results in a better attendance.
On the other hand, the hotel have shown they are quite inept, and I'm
not overly confident that they'll sort themselves out and get a contract
to me, or allow me to pay beforehand...
On the other hand, not spending 50 quid is appealing.
