I have my phone line, broadband, electricity and gas supplied through The
Utility Warehouse, and have had absolutely no problems with them at all in
over two years.
I pay £25 for unlimited broadband and get the line rental free due to having
two other services with them, but they also do mobile phone tariffs, among
other stuff.
Well worth a look, and they promise to be cheaper for gas and electricity
than the big four also.

Subject: [Phpwm] Broadband recomendations
About a year ago I asked for recommendations for a new broadband supplier
and I took up someones recommendation of Webtapestry.net who where very good
but
after 2 major outages in July and a support call in which I was first asked
me to spell ADSL then told that support was only available via email (but I
don't have email, thats why I need support) I need a new broadband
supplier.
Any recommendations, it needs to be:
* fairly cheap
* Available to us small exchange plebs
* Unlimited
* With a fixed IP address
Cheers
Mike
