The voluntary sector as a whole (and large swathes of the
environmental movement) are lacking IT knowledge at every level from
basic training to IT strategy. There's always room for imaginative
approaches to helping groups...

...incidentally, Monday 12th saw Shrewsbury's first "Social Media
Surgery". The "surgeons" actually outnumbered the charities in
this case, leaving time to network with fellow techies, but
judging by Birmingham's Social Media Surgeries, these things
build up a big audience over time.

Oh, and speaking of WordPress, there were many of us from the
voluntary sector at WordCampUK this weekend - WP use for community
groups is huge, for all the obvious reasons :)
