Before I go any further I know the ultimate answer to this question is 'try
it' but for the sake of saving the cost of a CD-R, here goes:
I want to back up some stuff on CD-R using cdrecord. The stuff (uncompressed
audio) is in various directories and I don't want to / cant be bothered to,
alter the existing directory structure, but I also don't need to back up all
the directories.
Can I create a new directory and in it place symbolic links to the
directories I want to save, then use the upper directory as the input
directory for cdrecord?
TIA
