Hi,

Just some reminders:

in the pub I talked about administering a linux box using webmin, a web
based tool allowing you to remotely administer a box.

There was also a bit about making an X display clearer. Try making sure
the driver is correct for the video card, and that the horizontal and
vertical refresh rates detailed in the xorg.conf (or XFree86.conf) X
config files match the monitor you're using. And use the
control-alt-backspace key to kill those errant X sessions where the
display remains encrypted.


BTW:
~ does anyone have any more details on how a large installation of linux
boxes on a network might authenticate all the services they use again
one box/domain/thing. I am thinking of a linux equivalent of having a
windows domain, where logging on admits access to file shares, email, etc.
