Hi there,
in deed, tomorrows presentation covers all kind of multimedia aspects.
Therefore I will talk about:

- making fonts in X looking good (freetype)
- mounting various usb media automatically (usb-mount)
- playing vast majority of media formats, including the windows ones
(mplayer, xine, codec-plugins)
- making backups of audio cds and video dvds. NOTE that this is for
educational and teaching purposes only and should not be understood as
invitation for breaching copyright laws, I'm sure you'll do.
- renaming an entire set of mp3 collection.

If there's time at the end, I will show how I finally got my freecom usb
DVB-T receiver to work.

Mike
