[Preston] Wireless configuration

Hello Deepan

the ubuntu distribution and some derivatives (kubuntu for example) use
the "network-manager" framework with the "network-manager-gnome" and
"network-manager-kde" graphical front-ends for the respective desktops.
I find the tool quite handy since it simply does its job in 99.9 percent
of all cases. However, every now and then it requires some manual
attention. Besides, I still use it and would recommend it (my parents'
ubuntu box uses it as well).
I just recall that there is even a vpn-plugin for the network-manager,
although I never used this.

regards, Mike
