Back in the club, whilst they were mesmerised by Mike Bach's leather
trousers, one of us would press a Linux CD into their hand.

I'm sure some people in Preston would have awoken the next day, after
suffering uneasy dreams of a large German man in leather trousers trying
to convince them the way forward was a change of OS.

Then they notice the PLUG branded Knoppix CD on the floor ... No! It
wasn't a dream!
