Nope I did the LPI 1 and 2. exams.
I'd love to say it's because I didn't want to become too specialised
 in one distro, but really it's because I didn't have £700-800.

RedHat's stipulation would have been that I pass the RHCE with a fortnight 
of starting. The syllabus is very similar.
As soon as I have the money to spare I will take the exam as it is far 
more widely recognised - and besides, it should be even less of a problem
 since, I run old RedHat and new CentOS every day at work.
I'd better start playing with virtualisation now. By the time I ake the exam
it will be RHEL5 based.
