Hi,
Stephen was kind enough to reply regarding our proposed venue with the
following :

upstairs or a beer garden?)

One warning, the Hop Pole is a smoking pub till 1st July! I know
everyone is concerned about it so would remind
that. Even though you mention it is short notice, I have spoken to the
owner Jeff who is keen to make your visit
as comfortable as possible, or a venue that can be used as a regular
location.
The Wifi is available and I will update you with the key for access.
Anyone who wishes to have food here during the meeting can have it
delivered and we will provide cutlery and
plates and such, no worries there.
The live music starts at 9pm the only concern I had was that the band
will be doing a sound check that may take
30 mins but shouldn't be disruptive.

I wish there had been some time in advance to arrange the use of the
room, no smoke and more privacy, I will
update you on this.

P.S. I cannot make the meetings as on Thursdays nights I have to look
after another of our premises, I realise it is getting a balance for
everyone on which night it should be. (just as a pointer Tuesday nights
there is no bands here)
