Hi guys, their seems to be an interest in setting up an install fest.
With this in mind I may have found us a suitable location, together with a pub in which we can hold our next meeting.

With respect to the Install fest, I am thinking of Bromsgrove College. It has a large area set aside for computers plus a library with same and several IT rooms. It also has IT students. 

The pub I am thinking of is "The Guild" it is on the same site/campus as the college. It is a modern Pub with an open plan design but it is partitioned off so that we could create our own space. I have had a word with the manager and Monday or Wednesday evenings would be fine. In addition (and this is the clincher) He tells me that he has wireless internet access, which we could use.
In terms of location, for those of us coming from Redditch, It is at the end of the Bromsgrove Highway. I note that their is some interest from people in Worcester and Stourbridge so the position of the pub is close to the M5 junction. Also there is plenty of free parking.

I am proposing that we set a date for our next meeting and that prior to our meeting in the pub, that you all check out the college facilities with respect to the Install Fest. We can then discuss the suitabiity of the college as a venue.
