Gentlemen,

It was decided at the October RnB LUG

meeting to drop the use of Mailman for regular meeting posts on the  
rnb at mailman.lug.org.uk list. This has previously been discussed at  
meetings and on Mailman. I would like to suggest that you sign up to the  
RnB LUG  social networking site at -  
http://www.bigtoe.speedycheetah.com/whatsthis/elgg/ to continue receiving 
meeting notifications. This site is based upon Elgg  
<http://www.elgg.org/>.

We haven't posted anything about dropping Mailman on the list as there has 
been no significant contributions from most of the 42 ( active ) members 
over the last few months (or is that years) and so there doesn't seem to be 
much point. Mailman won't disappear, we just won't promote its use.
