This is it! Sorry to have seemed unprepared, it was just a question of
"which" computer I  had ben using. 
Thanks very much to Stuart for the disk of the latest Ubuntu.
I have google blogs on blogspot, more of the diary is one heading and
whywarwithirak another. It is 
pretty boring stuff but keeps my family in touch...that is if they have
time ro spare!
