[Rustington] X Windows / MiR / Wayland

Interesting times in Linux, the X Windows System is about to pensioned off,
and next year there will be Distributions with either Ubuntu MiR or the
more popular Wayland/Weston alternatives.

The downside, as always, is backward compatibility, and much of the older
barely supported software will be RiP !
