having loaded it from a USB stick.

Hi Derek,

Glad you had success in creating Android USB stick ... The version is 
"KitKat" and you close it as follows ....

Move curser to top right of screen and hold down left mouse button to 
DRAG the top of the screen down, where menu will appear which includes a 
POWER OFF link .....

SIMPLES .... if you know how !!!!!!!!!!!
