In a busy group with lots of messages there is an option you can set to
receive a single weekly digest if the traffic is too much for you. It's
quite a well thought out mail list system. There is a limit on the size of
message (about 30k? - send links to large objects like photos) and the
number of recipients - best to keep the list as the only addressee. - P
