Debugging C on Linux
Dave Gilbert
This talk describes various debugging tools available on Linux.
Many of them are relevant to other Unixes as well.
I'll describe gdb, strace, and ltrace, using /proc/pid/???, etc.
Exim/Exiscan/SpamAssassin: Email Virus Scanning and Spam Filtering
Mike Richardson
The university is preparing to scan incoming email for viruses and
for spam. This will actually be implemented on FreeBSD, but it is
all currently working under Linux.
December 2002
We don't usually have a ManLUG meeting in December, since
so many of us are busy or away at that time. Would anyone
care to organise a ManLUG dinner? I can't offer space in the
University unless one of us is there to be responsible, but
we (or some of us) could meet in the city centre for a meal,
perhaps? Please send suggestions to man-lug@lists.man.ac.uk.
18 January 2003, 14:00, usual place.
I haven't had any specific volunteers, not that I know of.
Unless someone turns up, you might find yourself conscripted.
Save the trouble and volunteer now! Uncle Linus wants _you_.
