Right, that does it, until somebody makes it possible
for me to have broadband here by either
1. Moving the exchange closer to me,
2. Changing the physical properties of copper,
3. Persuade one of the cable companies to wire up
the 12 houses in our village on the off-chance that
we'd like to become customers,
4. Painlessly installing a fixed microwave link from
my house to somewhere with a reliable E1,
or,
5. Dragging my house closer to the town,

then I refuse to read any more about other people's
broadband connections, and will go into a giant sulk
until I can say goodbye to my 33K modem link 8-PPP
