[SC.LUG] Modem

Hi Guys,


(I don't think I'm being sexist, BTW - I suspect we're all guys!)

I need a modem, and just know you can help. Criteria as follows...

1) Gotta be Linux-compatible (naturally). I prefer if it also works with
Windows, but not essential.

2) Internal preferred, but external might be acceptable.

3) Nice'n'cheap!

4) Available locally, from a shop or from someone who has one going. Don't
want to faff around ordering online - just want to hand over cash or cheque
and get a modem.

So, do you have any leads for me?
