[SC.LUG] ICT in Education

Hi Guys,

I've just been up to Macclesfield College (open day), and got chatting
to one of the IT lecturers - Rob Bosmith (a potential new SC-LUGger!).
He was quite interested in Linux, although they mainly use M$ products
(for the various reason that have already been discussed). They are
particularly interested in robotics and would love to do stuff along
those lines and, indeed, *may* be able to get funding for it. Perhaps we
can get a Linux IT lab funded after all. Here's hoping!
