[SC.LUG] Small quiet games box

I have a shuttle SN95G5 with an asus v9999 6800gt , cpu fan is temp sensitive 
(via bios) - very quiet, the gfx card fan can be slowed to a crawl under 
windows with the provided smartdoctor and there is a linux utility that does 
the same.

Loudest part of the whole box is the HD crunching away, but if you wrap it in 
a couple of thick rubber bands before screwing it into the case it will 
reduce the noice somewhat.

Might be a bit higher spec than you had in mind, but if he wants to play 
games :)

Another idea would be a linux box that boots from a large CF and uses network 
drives for everything
