The great thing is the massive reduction in support costs,
plus the advantage of centralising everything to one machine
to back up. Add to that power savings with most thin clients
(and the ability to run very small, quiet boxes), and for
most office situations it's an easy win :-)

Nevertheless sound config is still a pain, and latency makes 
it useless for a multimedia workstation, so LTSP isn't
for everyone - just most people ;o)
