Any ideas on the best way to promote this?
Workplace, colleges, libraries, council offices? - they
all have a strong stake in people being able to open their
documents both now, and a long way into the future.
Cheers,
- Richard

"The first official announcement of the Document Freedom Day: Introducing the
Document Freedom Day: "On 26 March 2008, the Document Freedom Day will
provide a global rallying point for Document Liberation and Open Standards."
As Circuit Riders you will know how important this is. If you have a moment
please join in on whatever level you can. You know; blogs, email lists,
actually looking at the site. You will be part of a global effort to make
document interchange work well. Its a bit like the internet. The internet
works well because the standards for information exchange were defined
openly. Document interchange could, perhaps even should, be the same! This
agenda will define the future of how we work for a long time to come, your
support and your awareness of the isses will make a difference,
yours
Matthew
