Hey, those ThinkPads aren't that old - they've got
CD drives! 
Mine run on parallel port ZIP drives, if they're lucky 
- or even boot floppies in one case ;o)

Seriously, IBM ThinkPads will go on for ever; probably
out-living the human race. It's a shame that Lenovo
don't seem to be keeping up the quality, but then 
everyone's moving to small form factor, solid state
boxen like the EEE or (eventually ;) the OpenMoko :)
