[SLUG] Performance

Hi y'all

My computer feels sluggish as I'm working on the net. I'm not really
up on hardware (nor, as you know, Linux). How can I tell whether it's
the computer, the network, or the broadband connection that's the
problem.

I power the computer off each night. It has that feeling that Windows
has, that it's just clogged up, but I didn't think Linux did that kind
of thing.
